Reactions have trailed the clash which happened between Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemates Pere and Whitemoney. The clash occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 17th August 2021, shortly after the usual housemates night games. Tension, which had been brewing between, housemates Pere and Whitemoney blew over as they got involved in a heated argument.

Prior to the confrontation, Pere, during his reign as Head of House, had banned Whitemoney from cooking for himself and other housemates, citing that he felt cooking was Whitemoney’s strategy to remain in the house.

At night, during what was supposed to be one of their usual night games, BBNaija housemate, Cross had introduced a game, which he called ‘Whisper’. The rule of the game was for each housemate to whisper a question about another person into the ears of another housemate without revealing the question.

Pere, confronted Whitemoney, asking him what question he had asked about him during the game.

During the confrontation, Pere, while bending over to talk to Whitemoney, who was lying on a couch, pulled out his name tag belt, which angered Whitemoney and many of the housemates as they termed it an act of bullying and intimidation.

This led to Whitemoney bursting out in anger, and in the process, he let out how he had been struggling to maintain a friendly relationship with Pere since Pere and Maria were announced as the wildcards.

Other housemates accused Pere of bullying and Maria demanded he apologize to Whitemoney but he refused.

The fracas in the BBNaija house has earned reactions from viewers, with most people condemning the act by Pere as an act of bullying.

Former BBNaija housemate, TeddyA expressed shock at Pere’s behaviour, noting that it looked lilike an act of bullying.

Uti Nwachukwu, who was Nigeria’s representative for Big Brother Africa 3, and winner BBN all stars in 2010 took to his Instagram handle, where he said Pere’s reaction is totally inexcusable in a real life situation.

In his diary session, BBNaija season 6 housemate Cross, who introduced the controversial game, was fuming so much that Big Brother, at some point, had to tell him to take a break:
