The Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show Season 6, tagged the “Shine Ya Eye” edition,  premiered in grand style on Saturday, 24th July 2021 with 11 male contestants making their way into the house and 11 female contestants joining their male counterparts the following day to compete for the grand prize of N90,000,000 worth of prizes

The show which is billed to last for a total of 72 days drew together housemates from various parts of Nigeria. The show host remains Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who has been the host of the show for several years.

Meet the female Housemates

Angel Smith


She is 21 years old from Akwa Ibom state.

Angel likes writing, watching movies, and sleeping. She says she is a fun person and has brought entertainment as part of her luggage to the BBNaija house. She also says she is bossy and would be real through her stay in the house.

Angel likes to meet new people and believes being on Big Brother Naija will help her Kick-Start her writing and cinematography journey.

Peace Ogo


Peace is 26 years old, from Rivers State. She says relaxing is one of her hobbies, adding that she is a nice person who also plans to stay real in the house through her stay as she competes for the grand prize.

Jackie Bent

Jackie B

29-year-old Jackie, fondly called Jackie B, hails from Adamawa state. She is a single mother of a 5-year-old, who she bore as she went to the United Kingdom for studies. An interior designer and certified wedding planner, She loves music, dancing, having lots of fun, and spending time with people she loves She describes herself.

Tega Dominic


The 29-year-old mother of one Tega Dominic is a business owner who loves dancing, traveling, DIY, and photography. When she’s not doing any of the above, you can catch Tega swimming, or being the life of a party. Tega is an indigene of Cross Rivers State. She says she has the temperament of water and fire; and dislikes people who don’t stay true to themselves.

Several times in the past, Tega had auditioned to be on Big Brother Naija. She finally got picked for the 2021 season.

Arinola Olowoporoku


29-year-old Arin is a feminist and a fashion designer, who believes in hard work. Arin says she loves to read and promises to stay bubbly in the house. She is an emotional, strong, creative, opinionated, and unapologetically expressive person.

Arinola has disclosed that she has 17 piercings on her body. She started her career as an Art producer but is now an Art Curator.

Roseline A.K.A Liquorose


She is a 26-year-old indigene of Edo State. She is a Nigerian dancer who says she has been dancing since she was 12 years old. Roselyn says she brings her playful self to the competition.

Maria Nkechinyere Agueze


An indigene of Imo State, 29-year-old Maria, a Dubai-based successful realtor, is a former air hostess. She says she is a lovely person and promises to be entertaining. After the show, she says she plans to venture into business in Nigeria. Maria is single and hopes to explore dating opportunities in the house.

Beatrice Agba Nwaji


Beatrice is from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. An up-and-coming actress, she is also a fashion model who owns a clothing brand, which she plans to improve on and build a modeling agency after the show.

She is single, loves to dance, and says she has come to the house with lots of entertainment.

Princess Francis


She is 30 years old from Imo state. Princess was raised and lives in Lagos State. She is a Taxi Driver who wouldn’t let anyone interfere in her culinary life as she loves to cook. She says she is bringing all her energy into the Big Brother show.

Tsakute Jonah, A.K.A Saskay


21-year-old Saskay is from Adamawa State. She says she is a peace-loving and emotional person. Saskay is an Artist and Model. A lover of art, she says she would like to own her own Art gallery after the show. Saskay is in a relationship.


Anita is 26 years old from Edo State. She says she would always be on top of her game all through di show. Anita owns a fashion brand and she also is a model. She plans to officially open her fashion brand after the show.


Boma Martins Akpore


34-year-old Boma is an only child, who was raised by his single mother and grandmother. He grew up in Yaba, Lagos. Having had to pay his way through school, Boma describes his growing up as “extremely tough”. He says one of the toughest decisions for him was having to drop out of school in his final year, as he couldn’t make ends meet, but in what he describes as his life’s high point, Boma was able to save and pay for film school, where he eventually graduated from.

Ikechukwu Cross Okonkwo


Cross is a fitness enthusiast based in Lagos. 30-year-old Cross is also an entrepreneur who describes himself as “a bad boy with a good heart”. He loves to watch movies, play drums, travel and have a nice time.

Emmanuel Umoh


24-year-old Emmanuel, who is from Akwa Ibom State, is the first Nigerian to win the Mister Africa pageant. He resides in Rivers State where he runs a fitness center and unisex salon and spa. Emmanuel loves to travel, connect with people and try out unique ideas.

Jaypaul Ephraim


Jaypaul is a 29-year-old musician and actor who lives in Lagos State and believes that the Big Brother Naija show will help him project him to the world and help him boost his career in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He sees himself as a person who is “entertaining, confident, playful, honest and friendly.

He loves to make music and videos, dancing, and cooking.

Adeniyi Lawal


Niyi, a 33-year-old engineer from Oyo State, loves to play basketball, work out, is a voracious reader, and likes trying out new food, which he enjoys both cooking and eating. He also enjoys playing board and card games- he even has a gaming license.

A husband and father, Niyi describe himself as “Optimistic, spontaneous and adventurous”.

Pere Egbi


Pere describes himself as a “spontaneous and adventurous” person. The 35-year old is a qualified nurse and served in the United States Military for six years before coming back to pursue a career in real estate in Nigeria.

He enjoys dancing, playing games, writing, bar-hopping, and water rafting.

Adeoluwa Okusaga


Originally from Lagos, 28-year-old Adeoluwa Okusaga is currently based in Port Harcourt as an offshore engineer, though he has found a new passion for sketch drawing and has become celebrated for his hyper-realistic portraits.

His hobbies also include dancing, singing, and exercise. He owns an online fitness club with members from all around the world. He has a good sense of humor and believes his travels to practically all the regions of Nigeria have given him experience relating with people.

Samuel Jacob Alifa


Sammie is a 26-year-old amateur filmmaker and final year student at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

He enjoys storytelling, videography, basketball, eating, hanging out, and he describes himself as “tall, handsome and charismatic”. He admits he talks too much at times and sometimes ends up gossiping, because of the “great dialogue” he gets in his day-to-day conversations. Sammie loves meeting new people and believes he has a bright future in filmmaking.

In 2020, he produced his very first short film and now has his sights set on growing his YouTube series and taking his career to the next level.

Hazel Oyeze Onou, A.K.A WhiteMoney


Whitemoney is 29 years old. An indigene of Enugu State, he is a businessman and entrepreneur based in Lagos.

Recently, he kick-started his designer shoe import business. He hopes his bright outlook on life will take him far.

Yerimeme Abraham Saibakumo, A.K.A Yerins


Yerimeme Abraham Saibakumo, called Yerins for short is a medical doctor who describes himself as “a perfectionist, creative genius, lover of art and poetic rap music”.

27-year-old Yerins enjoys playing chess, listening and making music, as well as drawing. He bagged his medical degree from a Medical University in Ukraine and considers seeing his parents for the first time in nine years right after his degree one of the highest points in his life.

Yousef Garba


Yousef is a 29-year-old Secondary School Teacher. He describes himself as a “soft-spoken, fun-loving, down-to-earth go-getter”. Yousef is a big food enthusiast. He enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and sports.

Yousef Garba is also a model and personal trainer. He won the Mr. University of Jos and Jos Carnival King titles and considers the victories as the highest points in his life.
